@robprogressive 26% of UK income tax was paid by the top 1% of UK earners in 2024. Rachel Reeves managed to frighten half of them out of the country because she has no real economic understanding blinded as she is by her hatred of the rich. No wonder there is a £20bn black hole. She created it.

A million people arriving in the UK annually has been the only way that the UK can show economic growth. Had they not come, needing food, medical cover, housing etc the UK would have been in continual recession. Now you know why we have such huge immigration figures.

Osborne caught out by USA for not spending 2% on Defence added in Mil Pensions and Nuclear Deterrent. On a like for like basis military budget now nowhere near 2%. Utter subterfuge.
