latest jobs report data confirms what we’ve heard anecdotally & data published to date. This crisis is disproportionately punishing working women - with domestic/childcare falling on their shoulders at a pace that makes integrating families and home more challenging than ever
How are you approaching this issue? how are you innovating your policies & structures to support caregivers? Backup care, while helpful in “normal times” falls short in covid. We have a pod matching pilot up in Boston. If you’re a Boston based co - reach out. We can help

@treubold A mental shift from perfection to doing your best. Finding out that focused attention for shorter duration does way more good than scattered more "frequent" attention. Getting them to bed early on a Fri/Sat for some "you" or "us" time
The authors found that employers often jump to the conclusion that moms are “less dedicated” to their jobs—despite the endless research that shows that childcare duties and other WFH disruptions tend to fall disproportionately to women.
What's wrong with this picture? >1/3 dads w. kids at home were promoted while WFH, 26% got a raise. But only 9% of moms were promoted, just 13% got a raise? https://t.co/OxNmb93C2b
