⚡️Regime forces detain over 125 civilians during mass conscription campaign in Wemberima Woreda (📍West Gojjam Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia).

🔴 Between July 16th–18th, regime forces carried out coordinated nighttime raids across rural areas surrounding Shindi town, including Sebadar, Burafer, Dend, Webo-Legesema, and Shambla.

🔴 The operation targeted local farmers and young men, with more than 125 civilians forcibly taken from their homes and farmlands.

🔴 Sources indicate the mass detentions are linked to an ongoing forced military conscription campaign.

🔴 The raids have heightened fear among residents across the affected communities as the detention campaign continues.

⚡️Regime forces abduct, torture, and extrajudicially kill father of two in Tarmaber Woreda (📍North Shewa Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia) on July 6th.

🔴 Regime forces detained Ato Wondafrash Niguse, a resident of Armenia Kebele, from his home during a nighttime raid on July 6th. He was held overnight at a nearby military camp before being killed the following day.

🔴 The victim was subjected to severe torture before his death. Local sources state that his eyes were gouged out and his hands were severed before he was killed. Regime forces also refused to release his body to his family for burial.

🔴 Ato Wondafrash Niguse was a farmer and father of two who had been raising his children alone following the death of his wife.

🔴 The killing triggered widespread fear among local residents, prompting many relatives and neighbors to flee to nearby forested areas out of concern for their safety.

⚡️OLA militants abduct over 25 youths and intensify attacks against Amhara civilians in Dera Woreda (📍North Shewa Zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia).

🔴 As of July 10th, OLA militants continued widespread abuses against residents, including house-to-house searches, looting, livestock theft, and the forced conscription of youth. Regime political officials allegedly provided intelligence and protection for the militants while obstructing local security measures.

🔴 On July 10th, more than 25 youths were abducted in Mojo Kebele and the Menaharia area as part of a forced conscription campaign.

🔴 In Mamo Kebele, OLA militants abducted an unconfirmed number of residents and looted civilian property.

🔴 The violence displaced large numbers of residents and partially or completely disrupted transportation routes connecting Dera with Addis Ababa City and Merhabete.
