I lead product at a Rocket Health, but I realized I was running my own body with less data than I use to track a landing page.
In my professional life, I wouldn’t dream of making a decision without data.
If you’re trying to optimize a product, you must have a dashboard. You have PostHog, MetaBase, or at the very least, a massive Excel sheet. Without that visibility, you aren’t building, you’re just guessing.
But I realized that the most important system in my life is the one I have the least visibility into: my own body.
The human body is the most complex engineering system on the planet, yet our data is a mess.
Your nutrition is in one app. Your sleep & workouts are on a wearable. Your blood work is sitting in a random PDF from 3 months ago.
Separately, these are just fragments. They don’t tell a story. And fragmented data is as good as no data. It gives you a glimpse of a problem, but never the root cause.
I recently got 60 blood markers tested. If I took that report to a doctor, they’d say I’m perfectly healthy. Everything was "in range."
But when I ran that data through Rocket Fuel, that wasn't the case.
Out of those 60 markers, 49 were optimal, but 11 were borderline.
On a standard clinical report, "optimal" and "borderline" are clubbed together as "fine."
"Fine" is how you miss the trajectory.
These 11 markers won't hurt me today or tomorrow. But if I keep my current lifestyle for the next three to five years, those borderlines become actual health issues.
By the time symptoms show up, it's already late.
Rocket Fuel connected those blood markers to my real-time data. It cross referenced my sleep patterns, daily stress & workouts to explain why those markers were trending toward the edge.
A few biohackers do this manually using LLMs, but even then, the context is missing. An LLM doesn't have a live sync of your life. If the context layer isn't built properly, the whole insight infra crumbles.
We're building Rocket Fuel because we believe this kind of visibility should just exist. For free.
PostHog gives you analytics infrastructure for your product for free. Why shouldn't there be an analytics engine for your body that does the same?
We're building this for ourselves first. The people at Rocket Health are the first users and the harshest critics. And if it can help us, we think it can help a lot of other people too.
The core visibility layer will always be free. Because the ability to understand your own body shouldn't be a premium feature.
Rocket Fuel is going live for iOS & Android soon, because if we're serious about democratizing this kind of visibility, it has to be on both platforms from day one, not as an afterthought.

In 2016, I was told I had PCOS. I was in medical college. Studying the human body for a living. And somehow, I still felt lost in my own.
So I started tracking everything.
One of the best perks we have activated for @rockethealthIN team has been getting folks in office an annual gym membership.
I personally completed 14 strength training workouts in April, and can't wait to keep this going.
But this was never really about a perk.
I've always played sports, and strength & conditioning has been a huge part of my life, and I've seen what consistent training does -- not just to the body, but to how you think, how you handle pressure, how you show up. The mental toughness, the grit, the resilience -- it bleeds into everything.
And we wanted that for the team.
When your teams are grinding through the same workout, something changes. Teams that would never cross paths start bonding. The walls come down. You build trust through shared hard work in a way no offsite ever will.
Tbh, this isn't a cost. It's one of the highest-leverage investments we've made. I cannot wait for that day when we have a full stack gym at the Rocket HQ (have some plans, but one step at a time 🙏🏽)
If we're building a company that helps people take their health seriously -- we better be living it. Seeing how our recovery shows on the @getrocketfuel testflight is especially very fulfilling⛽️
Tbh, I'd love for y'all to try and see this for yourselves as well -- you can get early access as on https://t.co/edHcXekF5K DM me and I'd try to put your name ahead in the queue
Most people find out something's wrong when it's already too late.
That's not healthcare. That's damage control.
We are changing that.
