Live voting is hybrid: AO stores the votes, the real-time is processed on server due to network latency.

The final result is the only thing that needs to be permanent. That is already 100% on-chain.

Now getty has Polls that permanently and immutably on @ArweaveEco. 🎉

Each poll leaves a TX containing: question, options, votes, and winner. Verifiable forever!

On @aoTheComputer, the poll remains decentralized.

It works with Odysee, Kick, and Twitch chat.

Currently, when you create a poll on getty, it runs on our server.

With AO: that poll will be stored and run directly on Arweave. No middlemen, no databases, and no server!

You create it, Arweave stores it, the widget reads it, and no one can delete it. 🎩

What does this mean? Your polls, giveaways, and achievements are now stored on Arweave.

No one can delete or alter them. They belong to you, they’re permanent, and anyone can verify them. ✍️

getty + AO: first successful test. 🎉

AO processes for achievements, raffles, and polls are now running on Arweave and displaying their status via HyperBEAM.

Widgets can now read the status from @aoTheComputer.

There's still a lot to learn, but it's live now.

getty was created for Odysee creators and streamers who needed something that already existed on Twitch and YouTube: tip alerts, customizable widgets, and streaming tools that worked smoothly.

It's easy to get started on getty: open a channel on Odysee, log in to getty, set up your widgets, and go live. There are no requirements for followers or streaming hours. If you want to stream, you can start right away.
