Georgian Dream is to relaunch law on declaring CSOs as ‘foreign agents” also known as the ‘Russian law’ due to its similarities with the legislation in Russia. The decision on resubmitting the law was announced by GD majority leader Mamuka Mdinaradze.
The law was withdrawn following massive protests in March 2023.
