I am witty and cool... I get that we don't all share the same ideology but ama listen to what you have to say and be polite if I disagree...
A college swimmer caught red-handed assaulting an unconscious girl behind a dumpster gets sentenced to just 3 months in jail because the judge "didn't want to ruin his Olympic potential." Once again, a man's hypothetical career is worth more than a woman's actual life.
Tinubu knows we always move on to the next one!
But as a mother I refuse to move on.
Thirty Nine (39) innocent children are still being held to Ransom.
The GCFR should resign if he can't secure our lives and bring back those kids.
This is now their 33rd night in the jungle as captives of terrorists!! 33 nights!!! Toddlers!!! Children!! Innocent teachers who just went to school! Ah!! 😭😭😭
For years now, a woman usually comes to our house to fetch water whenever there's no light. We use generator to pump. She has 3 kids. She comes anytime of the day to fetch as much as she wants, no restrictions. I was driving by this morning, and I saw cassava peels in front of her house. She was sitting down outside, too.
I asked if they belonged to her, she said yes. It was just a sack worth. I told her to allow me pack the peels for my goats. I packed the peels into the sack and was about to put it at the back of the truck, then she said "aunty we never talk money o."
I was surprised, I asked how much, she said 1k. Wow!
So I asked her, "The water you come to fetch everyday nko, do i ask you for any favor or anything in return? We open the gate for you and your kids any day, any time to fetch water, but you want to collect money for this one sack of cassava peels." She was just smiling. So I told her, if you collect this money, we won't let you fetch water again. Because we bought fuel with money too. She just smiled. I gave her the 1k, and she collected it. She even told me to return her sack.
She probably think I'm joking about the water, but I've instructed them at home, no more fetching of water again. You don't have to be rich to give back to people who have been kind to you.
Japanese politician says that Muslims shouldn’t be buried in Japan.
”Japan is a cremation country. Allocating land for Muslim burials is not appropriate. If they want burial, it should be done in their home countries at their own expense.”
Your fiancé is taking you to the East to see his parents. He booked a flight for himself and asked you to come by road, and you, unloved cow, still went🤦🏽
American: So there are terrorists causing problems in your country, right?
Nigerian: Yes.
American: That's terrible. Is the government at least doing something about it?
Nigerian: Well, our president addressed the issue.
American: Oh. What did he say?
Nigerian: He spoke about the law of lawf in the holy book
American: ...The law of love?
Nigerian: I guess
American: Okay. Did you send the military after them?
Nigerian: Hmm... at times.
American: What do you mean "at times"?
Nigerian: Sometimes we've heard the military went after them. In some cases, the terrorists ended up killing military personnel.
American: Wait. They killed your soldiers?
Nigerian: Yes.
American: Okay, so then your government retaliated and finished them off, right?
Nigerian: Mm... nah.
American: What do you mean "nah"?
Nigerian: Well, our president also gave an example from the Bible about the prodigal son on how we should accept them with love.
American: Hold on. The prodigal son?
Nigerian: Yes.
American: I'm confused. So you're telling me terrorists killed military personnel, and the response was a Bible lesson?
Nigerian: Something like that.
American: So you guys aren't doing anything?
Nigerian: No, no. We're doing something.
American: Okay. What are you doing?
Nigerian: We're rehabilitating the ones we catch.
American: You're... rehabilitating them?
Nigerian: Yes.
American: Not prosecuting them?
Nigerian: Not according to our president, no.
American: WTF WTF WTF
Nigerian: I never even tell you anything, you don dey cry
Especially women. We can wake up one day & all our rights will be taken away on a whim but never for men. The Afghan women went to bed one night & woke up the next day as slaves in their own homes & it haunts me everyday.
Let your children see you have fun. Sprinkle it in whenever you can; Sing while you're stuck in traffic, dance when you're cleaning the kitchen and laugh at your own mistakes. Fun doesn't have to be reserved for weekends & vacation. Show your children how to enjoy life even in the mundane routines; they'll watch, learn and do the same.
The Nigerian government has done something impressive.
They have convinced millions of people that struggling to eat, struggling to pay rent and struggling to survive is a personal failure instead of an economic one.
That's genius.
Why do kidnappers succeed in collecting ransom from their victims?
Based on my job, I learnt something special this week from Security Agents in Mali that we went on a rescue mission together. I don't know if the Nigerian Security Agencies are in collaboration with kidnappers to take ransom and share together, if not no kidnapper can succeed in taking any ransom where security formation is effective.
The story is that, I received a message from Nigeria concerning a 16 year old girl that was trafficked to Mali for sex trade. This victim called her parents about the situation and they passed the message to me from government agency for an urgent rescue.
When I called the number that the victim used to call her parents and I asked the traffickers to send the victim to me so that she can go back to Nigeria, they refused. Later they remove the line from their phone, now the number is out of use. I now informed a security agent about the situation because what is important is to rescue the 16 years old girl from sexual exploitation.
Now, the number I used to contact the traffickers is no more in use. I don't know the name of the village the victim is. I sent the number that they have removed and brake to the security agent. After two hours, they notify me the name of the village and the current new number the traffickers are using. We went on a mission without calling the new number. We arrived at the village in the midnight because it was about 15 hours journey. The second day, Information reach us the exact location the phone number was last used before they switched off the phone. After an hour, information came again that the person is having appointment with somebody by 11:00am. We hang around the place. When the person came around, there was a vibration from one of their security gadget to know the person coming with the number. We monitor her entry to the house. We were able to rescue the victim on 20/12/22. No call. Nothing.
So ransom collection in Nigeria could be between the kidnappers and security agencies. If not, no Nigerian should pay ransom to any kidnapper if really our policemen have the necessary security gadgets.
This is just a trafficking issue and not that some criminals will hide somewhere and calling people twice to pay ransom. You cannot call three times before being caught in Mali.
That is the reason I said, Nigerian Security Agents could be in collaboration with the kidnappers to take ransom from people.

@TafawaBalewa3@menyaaaaaaaaaaa That is not true o, growing up my siblings said when my parents get me dolls I used to flog the living day light out of them. They had to stop buying them for me.
I traumatised my Uber driver tonight and it was so worth it. 😂😂😂
Dude kept talking about how it's OK and in man's nature to cheat and women should be OK with it.
He went on to say that if a women marries a cheating man she should just accept it and not be bothered by it. He even said the woman should buy condoms for her husband when I mentioned STD risks. Immediately, I told him that a woman who's comfortable with you cheating is taking her own lick back outside.
He continues in his delusion with "oh, if your woman dey cheat, you go know" I said "Upee! Na him men dey find out at forty say their papa no be their real papa?"
I and my sister started telling him how married women were disturbing our male friends and these married women's husbands were also cheating.
I continued with my goal of traumatising him by telling him a story of a father in law who went to do DNA test for his grandson saying he doesn't look like his family meanwhile it was his own son who wasn't his. 😂😂
By this time he has gotten real quiet and wasn't really confident with his "if my woman dey cheat I go find out" I knew I already got to him. He started saying if a woman cheats she leaves, I said "she leaves na!" He said "where she wan go?" I said "that question no be for the women of my generation"
Then I told him someone I know is divorcing her husband despite having 8 kids for him. Women nowadays don't care and the society is erasing any shame you people used to trap women in marriages they don't want.
He went silent. The next time he spoke, he changed the topic. I am sure he'll be thinking if his wife is only OK with him cheating because she's cheating back 😂😂
Today I learnt that If a wealthy man’s son commits a crime in Nigeria and gets sentenced to prison, they’ll raid poor neighborhoods, pick up an innocent boy, and swap him in.
The rich kid goes home & the poor kid serves the sentence. This is why most of those raids happen.
One time I was scared of South Africans was the time two passengers strangled an Uber driver to d£ath.
I read comments from them, they said the guy was a student and should not even be working, hence, his d£ath was justified.
Those guys are disgusting and one of the most despicable people on earth.
Tonight is another freaking cold night!! This is their 29th night as captives of terrorists! We are talking of little children and toddlers in this cold! Ah!!! This cannot be how we will keep counting days! No! This cannot be it!😭😭😭
People stole.
At a service of songs.
While most people mourned, others were stealing from them.
Right there.
During the service.
Nah, we are a terrible people.
