@yoamomonstruos Do we think it's likely? No. Is there always a shred of hope? A small kernel of belief in the impossible? Always. It's what makes America great. As my dad always said if you never try then you have already failed. In other words you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
@AMandoSch I love Arby's. If the one near me wasn't a filthy dump I would definitely eat it every week. Now I get it once every few years to see if the place is still awful. Sadly, it was last test run a year ago. I don't know how that location stays in business.
@laythy29 Because you're at a stadium drinking coffee. No one orders coffee at a sporting event unless you're in the dead of winter in the north trying to warm your frost bitten fingers.
@FreddyLA7 Texas Roadhouse is alright when you're traveling outside of Texas. My Pennsylvania in-laws love it. But in when in Houston you should have ended the trip at Taste of Texas. A true Texas steakhouse.
@LeahRay44@HSnydra They're harmless but the dessicated exoskeltons they leave behind will give you quite the jump scare when you're just trying to enjoy a peaceful afternoon outside.
@_hanatwothree My mom used to make Ambrosia. She passed away and now I miss it. But head cheese is a European invention. Don't put that on us. Never saw the others in real life.
@groundhopper_fc One of my favorite things to do when traveling is find the best local breakfast spot. Please leave the awful hotel breakfast for quick emergency breakfast only.
@KevinGr38888104@NaruhisaOda The owners of the original Lupe Tortilla divorced. One kept the original location, I-10 & Hwy 6 in Houston, & the other got the right to franchise it. Both are good but the original is still better than the chains.
@kaorukazama At Daikin Park (Houston Astros MLB) each person can take an unopened bottle of water and any food that fits in a gallon Ziploc bag. I take the water in to save $. Families will bring in sandwiches & chips to save $$ too.
@anothercohen@glebovglebov@VerdeLonghorn You can turn the sound off. And you can opt out of Public Safety Alerts and Emergency Alerts. I find turning off the sound reduces nighttime disruption.
@BlaiseInKC Correct! Patio dining is only for that one rare day or two in Dec or late Feb when the stars align, the humidity drops, the breeze is like a subtle caress, the sun is mild, and the temps hover around 70° F. Only happens once every 5 years or so.
@FreddyLA7@michaelschwab13 Welcome to Houston!!! Don't let the tropical downpours we're getting this week scare you off but if in doubt about the water level on the road-turn around; don't drown! And beware the bayou. Beautiful in its own way but deadly.
