SAVE HCU PROTEST UPDATE: 31st March 7:30am

Midnight action on the HCU campus, nonstop felling of trees and destruction of forest area going on

PIL has been filed in the High Court and the govt had asked time till 7th April to reply. Students say while the matter is still in court, Telangana congress govt decided to destroy everything before the courts open tomorrow.

Detained students were released late last night after @BRSparty leaders went to the police station and warned that they won’t leave until the students were let off

Much more sad part - Media is acting unmoved by the whole incident. Hyderabad Central University which produced some of the finest journalists in the country, today has no media to support it…barring a few.
