Spoiling the vote is justified in our situation #TeamBaathil
Our Constitution is feeding the political polarization which is destroying our country.
The past three weeks has seen manifestos thrown out of the window and irresponsible populist pledges made by the candidates that stand little chance of being kept.
We have seen days of negative campaigning and spreading of hatred and abuse - from both sides.
Now we don’t have a clue what we are voting for.
The political parties the remaining candidates represent have an expectation that their members and supporters jump the queue on public services; their financiers expect returns on their investments. Whoever is elected will have their hands tied - and will be unable to deliver any meaningful institutional or economic reform.
A substantial protest vote will send a clear signal.
