In the coming days, we are going to make massive outreach programs via youtube, instagram & X, how tax slabs were unchanged for 13 years, not savings in 80C can have savings crisis in future, how Modi ji brought surcharge and take their tax rate to 35%, how LTCG & stcg increased?
UPI is ZERO-MDR today. But if MDR returns… does the cost really stop with the merchant?
Higher prices?
Smaller discounts?
A new processing fee?
Or suddenly: “UPI not available for this transaction.”
That’s the portal I’m worried about.
My salary already enters the game after income tax.
Then GST and other charges take their turns.
Now imagine unlocking another level at checkout.
Merchant may be charged.
But the real question is: who ultimately absorbs the economics?
As of today, UPI remains zero-MDR and no final MDR rate or structure has been announced. Reuters reported that possible models are being considered, including charges for certain larger transactions/merchants.
I work.
I pay tax.
I just want fair play.
Same salary. New portals to the wallet?

🚨 ₹9,222 crores in dedicated cesses failed to transfer to welfare funds.
This 4% cess is collected from taxpayers for health and education under the promise to fund rural schools and public clinics.
The ₹9,222 crores landed in the government’s general bank account (CFI).
If it was supposed to fund health and education, why did you fool us with the promised 4% cess?
Taxpayers 🤡
With more Genz joining the work force, the anger, friction between, maarpeet, gali galauj, laat, mukka, ghusa only going to more nasty between the tax payers and the government.
Jo galat hai, wo galat hai.

Most people don't want to climb up the ladder due to excessive taxation.
Once you file the ITR, your heart starts getting pain & brain filled with anxiety. Your job tenure is shortened by 15 years, kids are still in 5th standard.
You paid more money to the govt than you saved.
Same tax slabs. Very different safety nets.
Government employee: 14% employer NPS contribution, DA that adjusts for inflation, largely tax-free retirement benefits, pension, job security.
Private sector employee NPS contribution (if any) is discretionary, no DA, retirement benefits capped and taxed, no pension, and this year a hike that might not even be 9.1% many got no hike this year as well.
Now if Both pay the same income tax slabs why One group gets structural protection against inflation and retirement uncertainty. The other absorbs it all personally.
With this much security and this many perks already guaranteed, is it too much to expect real accountability in return from the leaders and institutions funded by the same tax money that gives them all of this?
Security shouldn't come without responsibility. Right now, we're funding one without ever getting the other.

I don't know about others but my yearly savings is way lesser than the tax I pay to the govt.
Govt is a major partner in my income. More than 70% of my income is taxed at 35% despite we have 6 slabs below 30% & the highest slab is 30%.
Feels like a 10kg dumbell fall ony head.
I’m raising an online petition, kindly vote if you agree that income tax should be abolished in the next budget, let’s make it reach our @nsitharaman#AbolishIncomeTax
