@mikemayer22 Tong still walks too many batters and throws too many pitches…He’s either got to get a handle on this or the Mets need to consider converting him into a relief pitcher.
@JeaninePirroNew Fire her ass at the end of the season. Her dismissal at this time would likely disrupt the team which you don’t want as you get closer to playoff time.
@StacieGerbyo Sophie has nothing against transgenders, she simply just doesn’t want men playing in women’s sports. A stance an overwhelming majority of Americans believe of both political parties.
@MetsdUp B - Acquiring one of the Cubs top prospects Jefferson Rojas from the Cubs for a couple of rentals was huge…Likely will be the Mets 3B in the next year or so. Put Rojas at 3B and hopefully Mitch Voit at 2B and you have the makings of a good young infield.
@The_RadMan@mikemayer22 He looks like the real deal…Just don’t rush him too soon…Hopefully, he can be ready to take the 2B job by June next year, IF there is MLB.
@SleeperMets Only time will tell…Considering who the Mets traded thus far, I highly doubt that they could have gotten a much better trade package…I expect to see better prospects (ranking wise) in any deals for Holmes and/or Weaver.
@JeffPassan What’s the point in playing the remainder of the season…Just hand the Dodgers their World Championship Trophy…
I hope that there is no MLB in 2027 and possibly longer until there is a salary cap restriction on ALL teams with none of this salary deferral BS.
@SleeperMets@MarinoMLB Of all the Mets supposedly on the trading block, Weaver and Holmes should net a pretty nice return IF Stearns doesn’t screw it up.
@NYPost_Mets Wouldn’t it be ironic IF Peralta was traded back to the Brewers for Jett Williams. Apparently has fallen behind number of other Brewer prospects and they now have their doubts as to whether he will be a productive MLB player in the future
@PatEvan54804433@MetCastPod I highly doubt his presence would have made up a thirty three game difference that your’re suggesting. Heck, the Mets put up 22 runs in their past two games without Alonso AND Soto. What this team really needs is quality starting pitching
depth.
@espn Who’s going to play SS for the Mets IF Lindor was traded to the Yankees, AND Lombard isn’t part of the deal? It certainly isn’t going to be Ronnie Mauricio…
It’s not like good Major League caliber SS are growing on trees.
