Additionay, you could give players control over 'audiolog player', and maybe a playlist where logs are collected. Though that might just be bloat.

Have a UI element for an 'audiolog player' of sorts that appears when you start an audiolog. If the pc enters a trigger for dialogue - it pauses the 'audiolog player' until the dialogue finishes.
