@canttakeitanym3 @jnw62 @SAHealth Pretty well for the majority. I have friends and family over there whose everyday lives are back to normal. I accept that people are getting ill, but illness occurs all the time unfortunately. I don’t know anyone there who is complaining about their predicament.

@jnw62 @SAHealth You really don’t want to be in lockdown. Currently in isolation as a close contact and it is really frustrating and feels like a real infringement of liberty. The UK as an example is just getting on with it now, perhaps it’s time to throw caution to the wind?

@charc002 @SAHealth Thanks for that. We are household members so there doesn't appear to be any way round it. Even though he is isolating we live in the same house and are classified as close contacts. It's crazy.

@JJonesmaths @profesterman Maybe it's because hospitalisation numbers are considered the appropriate yard stick. Surely we have to accept that Covid is another virus we have to live with.

@Lenny_P_Cover @Dan_KP Probably doesn't help that he lives in a hotel and his wife and kids are in Italy. Surely if you are bring expected to operate at the highest level you need a bit of stability in your life and to be in the right state of mind.

@charc002 @SAHealth Unfortunately it's reasonable to assume that most pre school children will catch it. As I mentioned they aren't vaccinated, don't wear masks and don't social distance.Not a great time to be a parent or a teacher. Perhaps we need to look at the UK's example.

@carlosox @SAHealth It is absolutely ridiculous. It's not like they are front line health workers, yet they are being put in a similar position, with only a mask for protection. I can't believe that the unions agreed to this. Something needs to be done before it gets out of hand.

@hidinginplains @DemiCassiani @SAHealth Steven Marshall has said that there are a lot of people eligible for the booster who haven't had it. As it seems to be the only real protection for Omicron, why not reduce it to 3 months like e.g UK and allow those who do want it to have it.
