A funded capture job doesn't automatically become a completed job when someone submits footage.
On @vangrid_io, payment depends on whether the recording meets the requester's requirements and is accepted.
The process begins when a requester identifies a location they need recorded and commits USDC to the job.
A contributor can then take the assignment, visit the location, and collect the footage needed for the requested spatial data.
The contributor can see that funds are committed before starting, but payment still depends on acceptance.
Once the recording is submitted, the requester reviews it against the original requirements.
Missing sections, incomplete coverage, or footage unsuitable for reconstruction can prevent acceptance.
This also explains why Vangrid separates open jobs, committed funds, and settled payments.
Open jobs represent capture requests awaiting completion, committed funds represent USDC allocated to jobs that haven't settled, and settled payments reflect accepted work.

Solana integration is a huge step for 1win Token
Native SPL integration brings stronger ecosystem utility and opens the door to much more
Looks like 1win is just getting started

King shares a wild story about @zachxbt 👀💀😂
Zach has recently made statement about not helping people again.
Apparently, Zach helped someone recover a bunch of lost funds after being promised a cut.
The recovery worked, but when Zach reached out afterward, the guy left him on read.
Guess who ? 😂

Lotus just partnered with axis and i had to read it twice not a logo drop.
@axisrobotics is helping @lotuscars and geely sort real parts on the line. the little pieces a factory picks and places all day.
One practiced move covering hundreds of different parts, instead of teaching the robot each one by hand. and the practice is coming from normal people.
- Open a browser.
- Move a little arm like a claw machine.
- Finish the level.
- Sign it.
That signed run is what the factory side learns from, a click on its own does nothing.
Epoch 2 might be the final epoch. Epoch 1 already closed and nobody has promised a third.
If you have been watching from the side, this is the window.

ETH took the real hit today, while BTC got off lighter
$318.3M in ETH liquidations against $286.2M on BTC
Longs made up $1.04B of the $1.12B wipeout
The biggest single order was an ETH position worth $19.98M
https://t.co/oY6rQKzf14
ETH fell more than 3% to about $2,490
BTC only dropped about 1%
Then ETH ETFs saw $72.5M in outflows, the eighth day in a row
https://t.co/S4aK45qZ1Z
The @trylimitless ETH daily still looks like a coin flip
Up 53%
Down 47%
I lean Down
ETH took the bigger drop, and the market has not caught up to it yet
Down pays about 2.1x here

@Confi_dence7 Redemption mechanics would be my pick. Who can actually cash out at $1, and how fast, is what decides whether the peg holds when people panic.
Reserve reports are easy to skim past, but they only mean something once you know that part.
@FrennyDefi@vangrid_io Funds being committed upfront but payment waiting on acceptance is a fair split. The contributor knows the job is real, and the requester only pays for footage that's actually usable.
Main thing is clear requirements, since "incomplete coverage" gets subjective fast.
@Scarred_zz@zachxbt Doing the hard recovery work and then getting ghosted at payout time is rough. Can't blame him for swearing off favors.
Whoever it is, promising a cut and then vanishing on the guy who actually delivered is a bad look.
As a medical student, I’m learning that good healthcare depends on more than one person doing their job. It also depends on how the whole team works together.
That is the mindset I’d bring to staking GEN on @GenLayer.
Validators run nodes, stake GEN and take part in network consensus. But you do not need to run a node yourself to participate. Delegation lets you assign your GEN to a validator and support its role in the network.
Your delegated stake contributes to that validator’s selection weight. In return, you can receive a proportional share of its staking pool rewards.
There’s a trade-off, though. Delegators are also exposed to penalties affecting their validator’s pool. Choosing where to delegate is a decision about trust and risk, not just rewards.
My approach as a student would be to check a validator’s activity and history before committing my GEN. I’d consider spreading my stake across several reliable validators instead of concentrating everything in one pool.
For me, staking is more interesting when you look beyond personal rewards. Your choice also influences how stake and selection weight are distributed across the network.
Would you delegate to one validator you trust most, or spread your GEN across several to balance risk and support decentralization?
