It's time to announce my April Charity marathon beginning TOMORROW! This month we will be raising money for Razom for Ukraine!

More of my reasoning for selecting this charity:
When i started this concept of doing a charity marathon every month, my goal was to choose charities that either 1. were relevant to what the month is known for (heart month, pride month in june, etc) OR something happening currently that deserves more attention. After taking time to talk to Ukrainians I know and seeing a lot of discourse in the broader MCYT community one thing was made abundantly clear: there needs to be more awareness and discussion about the genocide currently happening against Ukraine.
Supporting Ukraine is something i've always privately been in support of, have had extensive conversations with friends about, but I do agree that even when supporting something that seems "obvious", it's still important and i would even argue essential to be vocal about it because you truly do never know how people feel in this day and age. Although it has been mentioned on streams in the past, I apologize personally for not saying something more vocally on other social media platforms.
So with that being said, Razom is an incredible organization i've ran by my mods and also Rowl, someone i consider a close friend who is Ukrainian himself and we think this is a fantastic group to raise money for. Their programs span vastly across many important key areas including medicine, electricity, advocacy, recovery, and so much more. They have very clear donation incentives on their website showcasing exactly what your donation can help provide.
Their annual report is also stellar, with my favorite stats being that over $15 million dollars worth of lifesaving supplies have been delivered.
@x7rowl has not only graciously answered any questions I've had about Ukraine and how we can all help, but he's going to be joining the stream on the 3rd day, April 21st, roughly around 12pm ET to talk about his experiences living through this and I'm honored he's agreed to do so. Hearing many of these stories myself I think more people need to understand what day to day life is truly like in a situation like this.
This Marathon will continue until end of day Wednesday the 22nd! I personally will be donating 1 dollar for every run that I complete, along with an additional 5 dollars for every run under 20 minutes. See you there!
The Hermits just raised $1 million for charity today. That is absolutely unimaginable and from everybody here thank you so much for being best the best community on the internet.
