Been talking shit on YouTube for years, so I came to Twitter to talk shit too. Sports, Economics, Science & Tech. Warriors, Barcelona, Federer Fan. Matthew 7:16
Stephen Curry on Brandin Podziemski’s development:
“Same player, same talent. Just looks like, he’s in better shape. He looks like he’s a little stronger, little quicker.”
Said it’s about being decisive, not turned down threes if he’s open.
“I know he’s very determined.”
You can place sports bets on these "prediction markets". Yes, they offer other things, but you can do that there too. If you promote them, you promote that implicitly. Usually I don't judge people's intelligence based on tweets, but this dude stupid as hell
Sports betting is correct but for you all that look at LeBron or any other person that are involved in prediction markets are totally misinformed on the subject. calling prediction markets sports gambling is like calling the stock market a casino. you don't have to like it, but it's a regulated exchange where people trade with each other, not a house that profits when you lose. Know the difference
They wrap this shit up in fancy language like "prediction markets" and "shares", and get people to feel like they are doing something more sophisticated so they won't feel as bad about blowing their money and so that idiots like this can promote it for them.
I remember when Dr. Jerry Buss was building the Showtime Lakers and searching for someone who could bring a unique presence to the organization as a PA announcer. He wanted a voice that was powerful, memorable, and distinct – that was Lawrence Tanter.
As someone who was both a fan and a friend of Lawrence when he was disc jockey on multiple jazz radio stations in Los Angeles, long before he stepped behind the Lakers microphone, I could not have been happier. For more than 40 years, his baritone voice was the sound of the Lakers franchise and he was an integral part of many Laker Championships, right alongside us players.
He will be missed by more than just Lakers fans, Lawerence will be missed by the entire jazz community who loved his music and velvet voice. Rest in peace my friend!
More power to the players who like to control their own destiny more, but that type of thing comes with a price if you don't deliver and rightfully so. LeBron's criticism is a different thing, but at least for KD and Kawhi more recently, that is why they catch more heat.
When you stay with a team through it all and win as much as he has without always having a stacked deck, your career is looked on favorably. It's not a Steph thing. If he moved around forming super teams and failed to win like some have, he will catch the same heat they have.
Gilbert Arenas says Steph Curry is the superstar who would get a pass for "ring chasing" to team up with someone like Nikola Jokić. DeMarcus Cousin asks why Curry doesn't face the same intense media scrutiny and pressure as LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Kawhi Leonard when they fail to win
The entire presidential television press pool — Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN — has agreed to suspend coverage in the wake of Trump’s decision to ban CNN, Politico, and MS NOW from the White House https://t.co/fidUefQtew
Her finishing has improved a lot. Softer touch, doesn't look as rushed and she is in control. Still got work to do to make this consistent, but there's been serious progress in her scoring game. Really good to see this.
I know it's not a conclusive conversation, because it is true that there's guys that got unlucky and all. But when when you got one all time great sitting at 5 rings as a big factor in all of them and another sitting at 0, it ain't just luck.
One with Shaq, possible. Many great players could do that. 3 peat? It's not happening with anyone other than Kobe or a few other top shelf all timers. And Kobe got 2 more after that which T Mac definitely wasn't winning.
Karl Anthony Towns just won a ring as a number 2 to Jalen Brunson but I’m supposed to believe T-Mac couldn’t win one as a 2nd option to prime Shaq? Man get out my face
You can become a rowdy frat bro doing diehard fandom at an SEC game and they still wont consider you “assimilated” enough because the one thing you cannot change is that you are not white.
