There’s been a lawsuit filed against the City of Jasper in federal court.
A city ordinance passed that excluded first responders and city laborers from receiving paid time off should they get Covid-19- while other city employees received 10 days paid time off and extended leave.

UAB is switching to distance learning. Says they are equipped for all online courses. Students are being asked to not return to campus after spring break.
