The majority of patient depression scores are submitted during the day, and those that are submitted at night are much more severe.

At this point. Post it, as I will be reposting what I wrote.

When I see my good friend Rabbi Gabriel Negrin, the Chief Rabbi of Greece and the only Romaniote rabbi serving in a position of communal leadership today, placed on this list, I know something is deeply wrong.

And when I see respected Sepharadi Ḥakhamim dragged into it alongside him, I have no reason to place blind faith in the people making these accusations.

What is particularly disturbing is that the authors themselves admit that this list lumps together completely different categories, from rabbis whose halakhic standards they simply disagree with to organizations they accuse of outright fraud, and then tell us that, "for practical awareness purposes," they will not distinguish between them.

That is not a minor distinction. That is the entire issue.

One day, I hope to rally Shaʿareth Yisraʾel against this kind of slander. If you are going to condemn a rabbi, or the institutions through which he serves his community, bring halakhic evidence. Bring sources. Bring facts. Tell us precisely what the objection is and allow it to be examined.

Authority is not evidence. Institutional power does not transform an accusation into truth.

There was, and remains, a genuine need to protect communities from abuse and fraudulent certification. But even a righteous cause can be corrupted when people stop asking questions, surrender their judgment, and begin treating organizations as untouchable authorities.

We do not need another mafia structure deciding who is clean and who is condemned.

Something I missed when I first watched the video two days ago: they added English subtitles for everything except the very last part, where a member of the local security team says:
