@Hrushworth I’m also confused by the proposal to put bus lanes the length of Swandon Way. Currently no routes serve that road, do they? There are no stops along it as far as I know. Or are TfL moving the routes out from Old York Road?

@Hrushworth It’s a strange proposal, I feel. Not convinced it’s much of an improvement. I much preferred the older plans to pedestrianise/make bus only Wandsworth Hight St and move the main road to Armoury Way

@dontdelay Spot on. This policy would create the perverse incentive of staying in the home to the end, not downsizing for fear of dying before 7 years have elapsed. Rather than raising the threshold but with a whacking great 40% rate, the threshold should be lowered, and the rate reduced

@ChiswickW4 Great news! Should speed up traffic through that junction, as well as remove the incentive for cyclists to nip across the (extremely wide) pavement, instead staying in a clearly marked bike lane. Win-win!

@joeymandrews The eastern end of the NR platforms is close to a road bridge: if they added a second exit there, it was halve the time to walk between P and EP stations - making it a very useful interchange - as well as reducing crowding in and around the existing station.
