I am pleased to share that our case report, “Lumbar Spine Mucormycosis Mimicking Pott’s Spine: A Case Report,” has been published in Case Reports in Infectious Diseases.
This report describes an exceptionally rare case of spinal mucormycosis presenting as presumed Pott’s disease in an immunocompromised patient. The case highlights the diagnostic challenges of fungal spinal infections, the importance of early tissue diagnosis, and the need to maintain a broad differential diagnosis.
