@LucaBrasi_ Lol I'm not a Christian and no amount of "Bible study" will fix that. But your instinct is still to preach at people and blame them instead of listening and empathizing. I've seen lots of people like you in 20 years of being embedded in the charismatic world.
@LucaBrasi_ Your "god centered faith" idea is the same old schtick that all religious groups use to do damage control when they feel cognitive dissonance. It's easy to blame the apostates. If you had any courage you might reflect on why your response to all this is victim blaming.
@LucaBrasi_ Your own language reeks of the hyper spiritualism that made IHOP so toxic. Your god is not "pruning" anything. A group of women who were sexually abused are exposing an organization that has a long history of coverups that go far beyond Mike Bickle.
The image is me attempting to search the company Silencer Central on Instagram. All of the first results are bots or unrelated accounts. To actually get to their account, I had to "see more results."
I constantly run into censorship issues with large social media platforms who are suppressing content that's related to the outdoors and firearms. My friends who don't seem to have an issue with that type of censorship share the cultural markers and values of these companies.
Since I do a lot of social media work... It is wild just how much the major social media companies control the flow of information just through simple things like making it hard to find accounts.
Anyone who has any contact with the business world knows that having a social media presence is really important for success in today's world of commerce.
It's ironic how much of Kendi's worldview mirrors white evangelicalism. He talks about whiteness in the same way evangelicals talk about sin. It's a terminal, inherent condition that you have to be converted from. He has the answer to your white guilt. Confess and repent.
As always, Kendi boils down to its essence the real meaning of highly obfuscatory academic discourse, in this case, the discourse of "whiteness":
The "construction of whiteness prevents white people from connecting to humanity. ... When you are not able to see yourself in other human beings, that creates all sorts of problems."
I grew out of Kendi's worldview when I realized that the only proper role that I could play in it was to shut up, agree, and not offer any criticisms. Half my life was already defined by religious conformity and believing that my movement had the answer to everyone's problems.
