Are there effective treatments for #HIV ? YES! Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) is the use of #HIV medicine to treat the infection. ART cannot cure #HIV, but can lead to longer, healthier lives and reduce the risk of transmission.

What is #HIV ? #HIV is a immunodeficiency virus. #AIDS is the most advanced stage of the #HIV infection. #HIV destroys our body's CD4 cells which are the immune systems infection-fighting cells. Without CD4 cells our body is vulnerable to other infections and cancers. @talkHIV
