@acajacques@ChrystalAshby@SLakhasse Mes parents étaient unilingues franco.
Pride Inc.
There was a time when Pride meant asserting one’s right to exist as a homosexual person in a hostile society. This struggle, carried out by courageous individuals, fought for tangible civil rights: decriminalization, protection against discrimination, and the recognition of same-sex couples. Today, Pride has been co-opted, stripped of its meaning, and repackaged as an ideological tool in service of an agenda that has nothing to do with the civil rights of homosexual and bisexual people.
What’s driving this shift? Queer theory and neo-Marxist ideology. This theoretical haze seeks to deconstruct everything, sex, orientation, biological truth, even the individual. It claims everything is fluid, perceived, performed, and that any boundary or constraint is a form of oppression. Under this logic, the goal is no longer to defend realities, but to abolish them entirely.
These radical ideas are now actively promoted by the #LGBTQIA2S+ lobby. Acting as the financial and propagandistic arm of this activism, the lobby uses its influence to push this ideology through every available channel: mainstream media, public institutions, school curricula, mandatory corporate training. It doesn’t defend rights, it promotes dogma.
Even more troubling is the fact that many of the former organizations that once worked to advance the rights of gays and lesbians have chosen to embrace this ever-expanding alphabet soup of identity politics. Not out of conviction, but out of necessity: in order to keep receiving funding, to remain “relevant,” and to justify their existence at a time when homosexual and bisexual people had already achieved legal equality, they tacked on letter after letter until the acronym lost all coherence.
Major cultural, educational, and political institutions, eager to rack up virtue points with the Church of Holy Wokeness, have adopted this ideology uncritically. Subsidies, partnerships, “inclusive” certifications, a whole ecosystem has emerged where ideological conformity is rewarded and monetized. “Pride” has become a trademark, a profitable product, a banner of virtue for elites chasing symbolic capital.
But it’s not too late to reverse course. We must put an end to the use of the #LGBTQIA2S+ acronym and its endless variations. We must stop lumping homosexual and bisexual people in with ideological causes that have nothing to do with them. People are not letters. If there are individuals or groups who want to advocate for transgenderism, let them do so under their own name and for their own cause. If some support queer ideology, let them ask for funds as queers. What is unacceptable is the continued exploitation of gay, lesbian, and bisexual people as emotional leverage, moral cover, and political currency to fund identity-based ideologies that have absolutely nothing to do with them. Public funding must also be cut off from organizations that claim to speak for everyone, when in truth they only represent a narrow ideological current, one often hostile to the very reality of homosexual people.
The truth is, this lobby does not represent gays, lesbians, or bisexuals. It represents a worldview where truth is relative, language is redefined to serve agendas, and ideological conformity is mandatory. Behind the shiny façade of “inclusion” lies a radical political project, one whose first victims are children, women, and homosexuals.
It’s time to say it plainly: Pride has been sold. And what it promotes today is not equality, it’s indoctrination. Pride Inc. isn’t a movement. It’s a brand. And like any brand, it serves the logic of power, profit, and control.
