I'm Boris and I created Claude Code. Lots of people have asked how I use Claude Code, so I wanted to show off my setup a bit.
My setup might be surprisingly vanilla! Claude Code works great out of the box, so I personally don't customize it much. There is no one correct way to use Claude Code: we intentionally build it in a way that you can use it, customize it, and hack it however you like. Each person on the Claude Code team uses it very differently.
So, here goes.
@MarzzNyc@zachxbt Good that you caught those 4, crypto cos are a huge target. I don't understand how come companies do not assess the integrity and dark-triad traits of the people they bring on-board? These are proven stable traits that will predict the risk. All it takes is 6-minutes...
Met with the CFO of a multi-billion dollar tech startup this weekend.
He told me every smart CFO he knows is cutting office space to reduce burn instead of firing employees.
Pretty simple choice IMO:
@netanyahu
If you want the business to grow, even amidst the pandemic, you need to find the best remote hires. But this isn’t easy. Check out our blog post on how technology-powered psychology will help you beat the challenge. https://t.co/aQF3IRWgnZ #remotework#remotehiring
@amix3k Step #1: Re-wording the ads using the tool shared by @CaptainCalliope
Step #2: When using social media going to split-test both the graphics as well as emphasize the diversity goal
Step #3: Going to measure and iterate
@amix3k Was looking into this exact issue this week! We get 100s of candidates/week for our customers, and while geo wise they are diversified, only a fraction of them are females. This puzzles me as #remotework and our performance-based screening is gender agnostic. Fixing it this week!
No #remotework guide should ever start by suggesting daily stand-up meetings. As much as we love each other at @doist that would be absolute torture and not to mention logistically impossible due to timezones. #facepalm
@ChoubeySahab@brennakL@doist "Remote advice" should only be taken from people who actually managed remote-teams and got to the stage where they can fix the issues that they experienced in their journey to build hyper-performing distributed teams.
In-order for Remote-Work to work, organizations need to inspect and adapt their processes, management style, communication, and even hiring profile. Transform #WFH to #REMOTEWORK or be at risk of finishing like Yahoo@2013 - https://t.co/ksbwVv8f2P
@peteflint@peteflint "...the demand side can focus their time on the less easily definable “soft attributes” like culture fit." - @FlatWorldCo we believe that the "soft attributes" also belong to the market-place, but not to filtering but rather to *matching* (to the demand side "DNA").
Before COVID-19: i was born in cities, always lived in cities, will always live in cities.
After COVID-19: i think we should move to the country side. It seems beautiful and very relaxing. I want a big garden at least.🤔
I had discussions like this with several friends by now.
Remote work starts out fun, then instantly turns into the hunger games once you and your spouse have conflicting video calls and only one "professional" space.
