@drclairetaylor @ShaunLintern Hopefully a new team will be helpful. 1 cons wrote to tertiary hosp to say nothing wrong with my child, I had moved care to another hosp and basically I was the problem. They had missed huge diagnoses, the move was in best interests of child. New team were fab so 🤞 for you

@drclairetaylor @ShaunLintern The person who listened most was the most junior member of staff, the registrar minimised everything,dismissed my concerns and effectively put my child at greater risk by insisting on fluid challenge which caused vomiting, she has unsafe swallow.

@drclairetaylor @ShaunLintern It’s crazy, symptoms exac same, vom even 30ml/hr fluid, sister diagnosed with strep a and gave antibiotics but wouldn’t listen. So sick no fight when cannulated, usually takes 5 people. I fear for her life. It’s happened several times, it’s a lotto who you get

@drclairetaylor @ShaunLintern Ive had similar experiences, my daughter has been big sick with Strep A several times. CRP >150, vomiting, very abnormal obs. Explain concerns as symptoms exactly same, told GI bug, for fluid chall. It’s terrifying,extremely glad shift changed and new dr listened
