Team Burnham pressed Keir Starmer to stay on over the summer to give their man time to prepare for power. Starmer rebuffed them in no uncertain manner: you’re forcing me out because you think I’m useless. So why should I wait til September at your convenience?
As I said on @TimesRadio yesterday, this is not an amicable handover.
Starmer was very badly prepared for power in July 2024. Burnham is considerably less well-prepared.

Former DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has been found GUILTY on all 18 sex abuse charges including rape.

The ex-MP abused two young girls when they were children. He pleaded not guilty. The judge just remanded him in custody and warned he'll get a lengthy prison sentence.

His wife, Lady Eleanor Donaldson, was also found to have committed the acts she was charged with (aiding & abetting etc.), but she’s unfit to stand a normal trial so she gets a "trial of the facts" instead.

Absolute monsters.

Les chaussures ont parcouru 800 km

Elles sont passées par Zagreb

Et ont fini dans un magasin d’occasion en Bosnie

Vendues 10 €

Il s’est rendu sur place, a retrouvé exactement ses chaussures en rayon… et les a rachetées.

Le personnel du magasin a confirmé : « Les articles viennent d’Allemagne. »
