Honestly, I disagree with you on so much, but I still consider you a reasonable thinker, we just have differing take-aways. REPORT: Republicans just joined Democrats to hand the government a loaded weapon, quietly backing a bill that opens the door to mandatory Digital ID for every American.

It’s called the “Kids Off Social Media Act.” But it doesn’t just target kids. It targets you.

The bill bans anyone under 13 from having a social media account. Sounds reasonable—until you realize enforcement means scanning your face, checking your ID, or tracking your device… just to prove you’re old enough to speak online.

The bill doesn’t have to say “Digital ID.” The logic demands it. And once those systems are in place, they won’t stop at children. They’ll be used to control what you can say, see, and share.

Multiple states have already declared these laws unconstitutional. So why are Republicans still pushing them?

My husband, myself, and 3 adult children have already taken measures to distance ourselves from the corrupt Republicans that now infest our congress and we have already made the decision to vote 3rd party or just skip entirely in November unless they pass the Save act- I cannot believe how truly out of touch they are. In fact, “can’t believe” is the key here- so what IS believable is that they are corrupt. My main family and I have always been centrists- fairly moderate republicans- but we are finished supporting these hacks- I have conversations with all my conservative-leaning acquaintances- and literally every one of them across the nation share our perspective. I have written to Diane’s who i once respected to no avail- no matter what- I will be voting against the Republican leadership at the national level- the ONLY thing that can bring us back is passing the Save Act. They are all failing to “read the room”- America has changed- the conservatives like me are waking up- our useless Senate is acting like it’s 2020 when they got our vote simply because we couldn’t stomach voting for the other side- but we are finished supporting all the red liars, frauds and cheats. Because they actually are worse than blue progressives- at least those wolves look like wolves-the red wolves spend a lot of energy putting on the fleece-

My husband and I now auto-stop all texts from Republicans, will not be donating again - ever in the near future and are removing our name from the party to become Independents, officially. The failure of this congress has lost us as supporters - they think we will keep voting for them because "we have no where else to go." They are wrong - we would rather throw our vote and let history fall where it may than continue to be suckered into supporting their nonsense. The ONLY chance they have to keep our attention is passing the SAVE Act.
