Everton Football Club:
- 10-point deduction, reduced to a 6-point deduction upon appeal for breaching PSR.
- 2-point deduction for breaching PSR.
- Owe Burnley nearly £40m in damages and interest due to breaching PSR.
3 punishments for the same offence 🤯
I truly believe that the prem football bubble has never been nearer to bursting. Drab games, VAR, cheating, and supporters feeling disengaged from, and unappreciated by their clubs, it’s becoming tedious and unwatchable.
I can’t wait for the day it happens tbh.
Take note @SpursOfficial fans.
This was County Road on the day we played Bournemouth and had to win to stay up. This was the support for a RELEGATION battle.
Us, the fans kept us up that year and year before that.
Support your team and you might get out this mess #Spurs
Not digging out Spurs fans, empty seats & a fanbase not willing to fight, it happens to multiple clubs every season in the Premier League.
But it hits home how Everton fans just aren’t normal, pundits always ask “How have Everton survived again?!”
…The fans. That’s how. 💙
This needs to be reposted 1,000 times. Well said Vincent Kompany. What an eloquent and well delivered thought process in the Vini Jr vs Benfica situation.
Lots of nuanced perspectives that I didn’t even think about with this situation:
After Michael Keane's sending off, Howard Webb went on television talking tough, declaring the red card "was the appropriate outcome" and "if we see it again next week, it will be the same outcome."
Except we didn’t. Seemingly because it wasn’t Everton.
