Minnesota friends complaining the only reason Iowa WBB won last night was the bad offensive foul call… the arguments:
1) let the players play
2) the refs shouldn’t decide the outcome of the game
3) refs NEVER make that call and haven’t been the whole game
Let me remind you…
@JeffWaldFox9 To continue, I have been an avid Hawkeye fan for as long as I can remember, and I have seen time and time again the ball bounce the opposite way for the Minnesota Gophers. I am happy for Gopher Nation… until next year, Gopher friends.
@JeffWaldFox9 The above comments are exactly why the invalid fair call should not have been made. It is so subjective and too close the be conclusive. A case can be made for invalid fair catch or not, which is why the call shouldn’t have been made… But human error exists, so it is what it is.
@GopherHole I’m not arguing if it was a fair catch signal or not. My issue is that it is non-reviewable. They reviewed the play to see if CDJ was out of bounds. During a review, it is against the rules to start looking through a laundry list of possible infractions.
An end of an era for the FHS Speech team! Tonight senior Captain Ashlyn graduated! Check out those @speechanddebate cords! In addition, head coach @BethBeckman192 will be stepping down to spend more time with her family! We are both so excited to see what the future holds!
We had so much fun at the Star Tribune Eastview Lightening Tournament! It was an awesome chance to challenge ourselves. There are over 1,000 competitors!! Ashlyn managed to break into finals in the Championship league and took 5th place out of 40 competitors!! @tigerfarmington
Congratulations to Ashlyn Cox on finishing as the 1st Alternate to the National Speech and Debate Association national tournament in the category of Dramatic Interpretation! This is a first for Farmington. Way to go, Ashlyn! #WeAre192
