@MikeyCycling I'm sure there could be a reason for an SUV in London for some, but I can't think of one, in fact I can't think of any reason to have an SUV anywhere at all unless it has genuine off road abilities and will be used off road
@TheMurkyDepths Trying to continue the war on the sick and disabled needs to be added to that. There's probably a list of other things that a true Labour Government would do, and he either didn't, or did the opposite. Regarding Burnham, let's wait and see, the jury is out for now on that one
@IsSaddleThereIs Clearly triggered by the horn use. Easy situation to avoid, cammer should have anticipated better, Audi driver just lived up to the stereotype, impeccably so
@LightHackers@snevinoj@simonvigar5 Great observation and reaction, nobody knows how they'll be in that situation, and that moment will probably live with him forever, just as it will for the victim. Really hope they have the right person at last and justice is finally served
@benjyminty In this situation it'd be the motorists fault still obviously, and as you've said, the cyclist still gave way. I get the sarcasm, I also struggled to comprehend some of the replies to that post.
@dotcomraid@anishmoonka All electricity makes you grip if the current is sufficient. AC jumps gaps so can provide a valuable warning, DC does not. People have said DC is worse, but that's because less people survive a direct encounter with AC to tell the tale
@fuxachechunk@CitizenUddin "maintained in it's original state"
Not sure if that applies to England, if it doesn't though, I think it should barring minor things like swapping out points for electronic ignition for example
@wildandhigh@but_cyclists I think it does now, but I had no dual carriageway experience, I was fortunate enough to have grown up around an experienced motorist/motorcyclist, but still had to learn a LOT myself. The test should give basic access, a 2nd advanced test for full licence
