we’re constantly told that we can succeed in the absence of shared resources, but is most “disruption” not just community in disguise? anything you could do on these platforms, you could do with a strong, aligned group of individuals.
A lot of people are struggling in their late 20’s-Early 30’s, bc they assumed their parents randomly had community. Nah, it requires real work. You HAVE to show up for people. We are all battling (life stuff), but to think you always cancel on folks & they’ll be there, Tuh 😂
i cannot relate to hating aging cos the older i get, i also get sexier….smarter….wiser…..more refined…..even more sure of myself. how could i hate any of that??!
The post-pandemic climate has felt....weird lol. It's like everyone knows we're being cheated. The jig is up, but the jig is still going. Playing in our faces, at this point...
If the postal workers & SAG-AFTRA organizing should’ve taught you anything it’s that you have power, you have leverage, and if you can stand in solidarity with the people next to you they will give you what you ask for. It’s just going to be uncomfortable.
