@uhealedme Thats usually the fun aspect of cons where no one judges you. If you have some friends to go with it'll make the experience better since your socially anxious. I would advise just going to a small con and seeing how you feel to test out the waters. Don't have to jump to big cons

been thinking mildly abt how anime cons used to be for all sorts of niche anime-adjacent interests but in recent years have become spaces where the niche and obscure cannot survive. Cons aren't a place for fandoms anymore. I think that's what a lot of complaints are identifying
