Excited to announce that I am joining the @CommonPrefix team to help them with marketing, communication, and events.
For those who don’t know, Common Prefix combines cryptographic research with practical engineering, designing secure systems from first principles and guiding their implementation and deployment.
I’m really excited for this new chapter and very glad to work with so many talented people. This is also why I took a short break from x, but Gio is back.
I’ll be posting here again more, and of course big content coming from @EthCC
Secret Network incident analysis by @CommonPrefix. Axelar's protocol was not compromised and prevented contagion from spreading to other chains. Here's the full report: https://t.co/u7izAFQu7I
We analyzed the Secret Network incident. An attacker exploited an infinite-mint bug in a modified CW20-ICS20 token contract on Secret to drain ≈$4.67M. The attacker minted arbitrary Secret-wrapped Axelar assets on Secret by spinning up a new Cosmos chain with 1 validator and self-relaying IBC packets to it. The contract did not validate which IBC channel inbound tokens came from. The attacker exited via the Axelar bridge. Axelar's protocol was not compromised and prevented contagion from spreading to other chains. Here's our full analysis: https://t.co/l7evjS5PsN

I fell in love with marketing & growth when I realized that there is no such thing as organic or non-organic.
There is simply good marketing and bad marketing.
As part of the broader security work around XRPL’s Lending Protocol and Single Asset Vaults, we have the pleasure of collaborating with @ja_akinyele and the @RippleXDev team to formally verify critical components of the Lending Protocol in Lean4. "AI and blockchains: A match made in heaven or hell?"
A discussion on the intersection of AI and blockchain technology, exploring real-world applications and the challenges of combining the two.
A recap of Blockchain and Trust Technologies.
An evening where researchers, builders, and founders came together to exchange insights and perspectives on the ideas, systems, and applications shaping the next wave of innovation in the ecosystem.
Until next time.
Let's dive into our collaboration with @axelar over the years and how it led to Common Prefix becoming the ecosystem’s steward.
Our journey with Axelar began in 2021, before the network had launched on mainnet. We audited the initial versions of the AxelarGateway smart contracts that connect EVM chains with Axelar.
Over the years, our collaboration deepened. Together with Interop Labs, we became the primary contributors of the ecosystem, building a series of complex chain integrations, including the integrations with XRP Ledger, Hedera, and Solana.
Leading up to the stewardship transition, we also took ownership of numerous core components of the Axelar stack, such as Axelarscan and ITS Portal.
Today's stewardship marks a new chapter in a journey that started 5 years ago, built on shared innovation and trust.
