You can now embed an “Add to preferred sources” button on your site. When users click the button, your site will appear more often in their Google Search results.
"Readers more easily find their favorite publications in Top Stories, AI Overviews, and AI Mode, while publishers gain a more seamless way to connect with readers across Google."
How to add the button:
1. Add this <script> tag to your web page, preferably in the <head> element:
<script async src="https://t.co/DjGhO4KjmF"></script>
2. Add this <div> tag anywhere you want the button to appear:
<div google-add-preferred-source-btn></div>
Have anyone had the chance to test this out and see how it impacts AI Overviews?
A few updates today making it easier see the content + publishers you want across Search, News and Discover:
⭐ Click the Preferred Sources button to save your favorite websites
💬 Tell Google about the topics and links you want to see more (or less of) in your Discover feed - just like you’d text a friend
🎧 Stay up to date with custom daily audio briefings in the Google News app (Android)
@brian_millot@a_shimanski Hey Brian! You mention that it's free to submit and it's a dofollow link but when I check pricing, the basic launch package does not mention the dofollow link, only the paid package. So to clarify, the free package with a badge will give you a dofollow link?
Hey 👋
Looking to connect with people interested in:

- Building in public
- Startups
- SaaS
- AEO/GEO/SEO
If that’s you, share what you are building & let’s connect.
@felipecssoares@floriandarroman There was a study that showed that 91% of the citations in Google AI Overview are containing the correct answer of the question
If you just launched your product, focus on this:
Interact with other founders and provide honest feedback on their software, tools, or apps. In return, you might get valuable feedback from them. Use that feedback to iterate on your product and improve it. Ask them what’s great and what could be improved.
Focus on making the core loop of your product as good as possible. First impressions matter more than you think. Help others, and they might help you in return.
Thanks Nico! Yepp we generate opportunities based on of the data we gather, wrote a bit about it here. https://t.co/XUPCjilsJq It can be anything from blog posts/content missing on your site, reddit/forum threads, thirdparty reviews on products in your niche. If you know what urls get cited the most for your competitors, then you can use that to your advantage.
@singlamohit98 1) You can not influence ChatGPT recommendations and mentions but Vestigo helps you run different prompts for all LLMs eg "what is the best alternative to [competitor]" and you can see what sources and domains it references, you can work your way to be the source that AI trusts
@hizachlynn One note though, I noticed that x uses the same command to upload stuff, would be great I'm able to change the shortcut command but not sure how easy it is to implement. I'm using the extension right now.
Great and clear onboarding, great product. I really like how intuitive the experience feels from the start, and the way Clico understands the context of what you’re working on is genuinely useful. Looking forward to exploring it more.
(Thanks Clico for helping me with this message) Good job @hizachlynn
@abielbuilds The copy icon and url icon have a weird placement and clipping in to the url. There is a random “Subm” text clipping between last submit and last crawl columns, terrible
@mikaylagroodyy@the411agency Makes sense, definitely interesting space to follow since it’s moving so fast. Could also see AI UGC getting banned in the future which gives you an edge
