@camillalong You are right in challenging whether all “progress” is good for society, and it clearly is not. The argument against assisted dieing is easy to make when you are well. We put down our pets out of compassion when they are in too much pain. It’s a debate that needs to be had.
@mrjamesob James I’m sending a comment of admiration and thanks for leading and articulating the right way to think to those of, undoubtedly, many others. Wish you and your family a great Christmas and healthy and successful 2023.
@CazzCtf I have no idea how no one in the BBC production team hasn’t told Matt Tebbut to stop saying eeeeeeeerrrr every 5 minutes!!😡😡 it’s SO annoying! It’s the most basic tenet of public speaking!
@AndrewMarr9 how you retained your cool despite all the lies and weasel non-answers by JRM on LBC tonight I will never know. It’s a great credit to your professionalism.
@SaturdayKitchen how can a professional cook not know that a calzone is basically a turned-over pizza and is baked like a pizza. It’s not deep fried! It’s not a samosa.
@SaturdayKitchen am I the only one who finds Matt’s continuous coughing laughter at his own unfunny comments REALLY annoying? Together with his continuous eeeeeeerrrrs
@mrjamesob Hi James, the explanation of how we got here in terms of petrol is found in Game Theory. Unless you can trust that everyone else is going to be sensible and not stock up with petrol, the rational thing to do is actually to stock up. As in the Prisoners’dilemma.Giorgio
@SaturdayKitchen am I the only one to find Matt Tebbutt’s continuous aaaaaaaahhh incredibly annoying? How can the producers not tell him to stop doing that!!
