Sometimes I have to remember that my job is helping thousands of children in NZ but god damn its mentally taxing. In 2 years of working where I do, this week has been the hardest and most emotional. I am mentally exhausted. I am ready for a holiday. Oh and I have an ear infection

I feel this so deeply. For most of my life I have struggled with my identity because I was shamed, laughed at, put down, ridiculed and criticized for speaking the only language I was comfortable speaking as a child - Te Reo Maori & for having fair skin. This shit is traumatic!😭
