Naturellement encore tu proposes d’aller dans un restaurant (pourtant tu n’avais pas toi prévu ça) parce que si tu dis chez toi c’est un autre débat là-bas.

Vous allez donc au restaurant. Comme c’est toi qui a proposé d’aller là-bas tu te retrouves en train de payer la facture d’une invitation que tu n’as pas initié. (En soit ça ne me dérange pas mais à chaque fois je Wanda toujours 😂).

Manchester United didn’t fall by accident.

In 2005, the Glazers loaded the club with hundreds of millions in debt via a leveraged buyout, a takeover method now illegal. United have spent nearly two decades servicing debt instead of rebuilding the club.

More than £1bn has gone on interest payments, fees & dividends. During that time Old Trafford deteriorated, the training ground stagnated & football decisions became secondary to balance sheets.

Since 2013, United have lacked a clear sporting framework. Executives outlast managers. Recruitment lurches between styles. Strategy changes with every reset. Instability is the norm, not the exception.

Supporters bear the cost. Prices climb. Matchgoing fans are treated as a revenue stream rather than the foundation of the club's identity. This isn't misfortune, it's the outcome of how the club has been run.

On February 1st, ahead of Fulham at Old Trafford, supporters organised by @The__1958 will protest. This is about accountability, sustainability & reclaiming standards worthy of the badge.

Manchester United exists because of its supporters, no matter where we are. Online, matchgoers, it takes everyone to stand up to ownership to say what we have become is not good enough. We stand together.

This statement was released today by a collaboration of online accounts. They’ve had enough of the Glazers, INEOS and the way the club treat fans and match going supporters. The inept running of the club and the shite we are served up every week whilst expecting us to pay more for the privilege.

These accounts have a combined reach of over 3 million United fans. They’ll be supporting the protest on the 1st Feb before Fulham.

Putting differences aside to get behind a coordinated, collaborative message that will be spread around the world to maximise impact before, during, and after the protest.
