This level of hypocrisy needs to be studied. Among the commandments God gave Moses were, You shall not kill and You shall not steal. When Zacchaeus climbed the tree to see Jesus, Jesus agreed to go to his house. Zacchaeus was a dishonest tax collector, but his encounter with Jesus made him reflect on his actions. He gave half of his possessions to the poor and promised to repay four times whatever he had taken dishonestly.

That is what genuine repentance looks like. You cannot play holy today and tomorrow be the same person striking deals to take over uniform-supply tenders, taking over hospitals, misleading citizens with false projects, overtaxing Kenyans, and watching more than 60 young people die at the hands of rogue police officers without ensuring justice. Faith without accountability is just performance.
