A racist man called Eric Stone’s wife a wh0r3 and a racist slur. Eric exposed his wife’s face, workplace and even got his phone number to call him directly. The man eventually apologized to both of them… but Eric still posted the video anyway. 😭😂
We see things differently in this country. What I see here is a clear message to the world that the streets of Nairobi are safe. Safe enough even for the president of the second-largest economy in the EU to go for a run.
A city branded as a livable, breathable space where a world leader feels entirely comfortable. To any observer, this level of accessibility is far more convincing than a formal speech about the ease of doing business. Of course, others may see it differently, and it's okay.
1. High ceiling + expansive floor dilutes authority and intimacy. Humans and furniture appear lost in space.
2. Focal point is lost in the arrangement of furniture.
3. Finishes fail to imbue institutional identity.
4. Lighting is dysfunctional. It lacks task lighting + hierarchy.
Once you've figured out how to parent your first kid, it's already too late; the only way to put that knowledge into practice is to have another kid.
Unfortunately, the second kid is so different from the first that none of the stuff you learned applies.
It's a flawed system.
I’m afraid not, Dr Ndii. I’m busy. Besides, I have no chestnut in any of those fires. Given the depth of your talent, why don’t you now run and fix NMG? I’m confident it will be as much of a roaring success as the many institutions you have run in the past. There are many things I don’t know. But I can smell a cooked poll coming up the stairs.
@Kalasinga_@Karriss The rains have been heavy, making 2026 extremely brutal. But they have enjoyed previous editions and enjoy the Safari too. Will the 2026 experience make them not renew? I don’t think so. And if they don’t, then the decision had probably already been made prior to the event.
Hello everyone. I said earlier that I wouldn’t go back and forth with government bloggers until I had the facts, and now I do. My total hospital bill was Ksh 263,340. My insurance, AAR, paid Ksh 250,000, and I personally covered the remaining Ksh 13,340. SHA did not pay for anything, and even if it had, that would not be a favor,it would simply be the system doing what it is meant to do.
I have never come here to lie about my experience. I speak my truth, and I detest misinformation just as much as anyone else. Healthcare in this country is not something I joke about, because I have seen firsthand what ordinary people go through in public hospitals.
Instead of addressing those realities, the government seems more focused on PR trying to spin its way out of the crisis rather than ensuring that ordinary, vulnerable Kenyans are not stranded in hospitals because they cannot afford care. Healthcare should not be a lottery where we pick and choose who the system works for. It should work for everyone.
So 4yrs ago this month, I received a job offer. Sidenote - current salary was $85K. (Making more than I’ve ever made). Get on the phone with the recruiter. He has a thick Boston accent. Keep this in mind. 🤔 So we talking he says “congrats. Total comp will be —
There’s no guesswork when it comes to ambition, dreams, and vision; but you will weep (a little) when you read the tender documents for the modernisation of Kenya’s main airport, JKIA.
You see, the minister of transport issued a brief that says that by 2045, the airport will be handling 22.31 million passengers and 860,400 tons of cargo. /1
3 years ago, My sister was brutally murdered at my parents house in #Kenya . Together with @johnallannamu from @AfUncensored , we did a documentary on about her, and the suspect, whom I saw with my own eyes a week before , was arrested, by @DCI_Kenya , after a lot of "pressure"
I am among those who believe without hesitation that William Ruto is not the president many imagined he would be. At the same time, I do not believe he is significantly worse or better than the presidents Kenya has had before him.
I also don’t believe that within the current political class, there exists anyone who would practically govern better than him. At best, some would simply promise less.
Kenya’s problem is not personalities. Kenya’s problem is systemic.
Kenyans are an emotional people. Emotions must be managed, egos massaged, narratives controlled. Power here is less about vision and more about psychological containment.
Economically speaking, Mwai Kibaki was the obvious standout. Not necessarily because he was flawless, but because he governed with restraint. He spoke little, and his work spoke loudly. Yet even under him, people were killed, blood was spilled, and injustices happened. Silence simply softened perception.
Uhuru Kenyatta, on the other hand, was arguably one of the worst presidents in outcomes but he was a statesman by upbringing. A president’s son. He understood control. He knew when to speak and when not to. When to give people just enough. When to pull back. That is how he managed the country.
Then comes Ruto still convinced he is taking the country somewhere. He talks too much. He doesn’t read the room. He advises his advisers on how to advise. His words are bigger than the moment, bigger than the mood, bigger than the reality on the ground.
I don’t support anyone.
And the question “Who do you support?” is the wrong question anyway.
Whoever occupies that seat is a product of us. They enter office and eventually realize that the turbine running the system was programmed long ago and the system admin was killed. You can oil the machine. You can water it. You can keep it running. But you cannot redesign it from inside the engine. So support doesn’t matter.
What matters is understanding how the system works. Learning how to navigate it. Working beside it not against it. Getting food for your children. And living.
Some things are simply beyond individual control. Accept that and move wisely.
Hi guys kindly reshare/repost until he's found ..His name Zlatan Mwatha 4yrs old last seen pale garden city.He was wearing the same clothes as in the photo .
A generation will grow up in Sudan knowing Kenya played an active role in the genocide.
Simply, the worst foreign policy decision in our lifetime. All because of greed!
My opinion is when you grow up without seeing what actual love is, you have a fantasy of what it should look like and most of it is romance because it’s drama, because love also is trusting someone loves you even in their stillness but we can’t handle that because we like fantasy
