1) Romanian presidential elections are held in two rounds.
2) An anti-EU candidate, Georgescu, led the first round and was expected to win the second.
3) This would have been a disaster for the EU.
4) The EU claimed Georgescu’s TikTok campaign was funded and organised by Russians and that his popularity stemmed from it.
5) They annulled the elections and banned him.
6) They reran the elections with new candidates, and the pro-EU candidate won.
7) It became known that the scandalous TikTok campaign was run not by Russians but by his Romanian opponents (likely to frame him).

→ The cancellation of the elections and rerunning them with new candidates was illegal. Everyone knows it.
