NEW REVIEW OUT
Fungal pathogens (in fact, not only fungi and not only pathogens!) manipulate the microbiota of their plant hosts during infection.
We reviewed the processes involved, focusing on effector proteins with selective antimicrobial activities.

Check out our latest review from @parkerlab_MPIPZ: "Plant NLR immunity activation and execution: a biochemical perspective" (https://t.co/eHJoFsTQVm). We discuss recent breakthroughs in NLR protein structures and signalling and how they shape plant immunity outputs!
Our review "Co-evolution within the plant holobiont drives host performance" is now published @emboreports (#openaccess)!
Thanks @Team_Thomma for the help, support and precious discussions, and thanks @hacquard_st for the constructive criticism!

Great experience on the first day of #2023ISMPMI ! I will present a poster related to glutamate receptor-like channels(GLRs) promoted host cell death in ETI on Monday. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at P-166 in Immune Receptors II session during 12:30-13:15.
I’m very happy to present my poster at #2023ISMPMI on Monday in the Plant Immunity Mechanisms session II (12:30 to 13:15). Come by P-286 if you want to chat about EDS1-PAD4 immune signaling and are interested in what a cysteine protease potentially has to do with it 🌱
