George W Bush will never be redeemed to me. Michelle Obama gave that man a hug and y’all have been going super hard for him ever since. when this is the same man who abandoned Black folk during Katrina, gutted education, initiated endless wars & ruined the economy.

Black liberals unsurprisingly losing their minds once again because Ta-Nehisi Coates is reminding them that Kamala Harris lacked the moral courage to oppose genocide even though he still voted for her, that’s not good enough for them. They want blind loyalty.
Outside of the fans disgusting behavior after nearing death….NYPD is trained to administer Narcan, that cop was prepared to let a man die on the job. Take that into consideration when you wonder who is keeping you safe.
@NYCMayor On June 17th, 2021, Joe Biden made Juneteenth a national holiday.
He invited Ms. Opal Lee to the White House to honor her. Here is what she had to say 💙
On June 19, 1865, African American communities in Galveston, Texas, finally learned of their freedom from slavery — two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation took effect.
For 161 years, Juneteenth has been a day of remembrance for the freedom that was delayed. It is also a celebration of the joy and resilience that flourished despite that delay.
The contributions of African Americans, whose struggle for freedom shaped our nation, are immeasurable. Yet too many Black families continue to bear the brunt of an affordability crisis that has pushed them out of the neighborhoods and communities they've built.
True freedom has a tangible impact on daily life: the ability to afford housing, earn a living wage, put food on the table, support a family, and create a future for generations to come.
As we celebrate today, we must recommit ourselves to ensuring this freedom is fully realized.
Happy Juneteenth, New York City.
@TheView see when you’re such a pussy and can’t even have a backbone against people asking for your death. This is what happens. You pussyfooted and still here we are
Vance: I thought Sunny, the woman to my left, was going to call me racist. In reality, it was Whoopi, the woman to my right, that called me racist. Expectations defied.
They crack jokes about George Floyd and laugh in our faces, and we do nothing.
They shoot our children in the back and then sentence them as adults for defending themselves and we do nothing.
They call Michelle Obama, the first Black First Lady of the United States a Man, and a Monkey and we do nothing.
They strip away voting rights in the same southern states where we send our best Black athletes to play college sports to make them BILLIONS, and we do nothing.
They openly talk about bringing SLAVERY back, and we do nothing.
We are desensitized to our own disrespect.
