Can anyone help anon?
Many of our teachers complain about staff meetings and how 'that could have been an email.' What would you recommend happens during meetings to make it more worthwhile for teachers?
Lovely schools - I do have some availability left for author visits this term, which I'm sure are the last thing on your busy minds... I totally understand that times are terrible, so please do talk to me if budgets are tight. I can't promise to be able to help, but I'll try... x
@MaryAliceEvans @OGTeaches Morning. We would love to book you in @RosemeadPrep this term. I have sent an email on your website so let me know if we can work something out.
I’ve used the NCETM PD materials all year with my class. I’ve made PPTs & accompanying worksheets for many of the Y4-6 units; I’d previously shared them on TES but have now uploaded them all to Google Drive. Will continue to update. Hope they’re useful!

@eggegg80@Headteacherchat Get them in straight away. Nightmare for working parents to do the staggered thing. Speaking from experience of both methods as a parent.
Love this - not just for #children but adults as sometimes adulting sucks and we forget to let go of the uncontrollable. Not sure about you, but I have enough controllable 💩 to worry about without worrying about the rest of it so put it down! #mentalhealth#semh#anxiety#worry
The Mood Meter was created by the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and is part of their RULER approach to help kids Recognize, Understand, Label, Express, and Regulate emotions. What a fabulous resource and activity to do with your class! #teacher#semh#teachertwitter
@bryanmealer good morning, possibly quite a random request but we are currently reading The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind with our Year 6s in London. We wondered if you would like to Zoom our class for World Book Week w/b 28th Feb? Let me know if interested.
@P_Harrison99 @AuthorsAloudUK@RosemeadPrep Hello! Excellent. If you wouldn’t mind sending your email address that would be great. I’ve emailed AA yesterday but jot heard back yet.
@P_Harrison99 morning Paula, I saw your post on @AuthorsAloudUK and wondered if you still had some free days for Zoom or live visits. @RosemeadPrep are looking for some authors w/b 28th Feb. Would you be interested?
@wkamkwamba Good morning, I work in a school in London and my Year 6s are currently reading 'The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind.' I was wondering if you would be willing to have a Zoom session with them about the book? Let me know if this would be possible. Thanks.
Good morning @jasinbath I work at @RosemeadPrep and our Year 4's are currently loving Tamarind & the Star if Ishta. I wondered if you would be willing to run a Book Week session over Zoom or live for us w/b 28th Feb?
