🔸Blanket demands for a "fit to fly" certificate for stable, long-term seizure-free individuals create unnecessary stigma and distress.

@drsunita02 Lovely. In Cuba, all MBBS students undergo 200 hours of courses on psychology, sociology and family dynamics. A lot of their training is in village clinics and includes daily visits to houses served by the clinic. They check and counsel people on hygiene, nutrition, life, etc.

@DocPriyamMD My 94-yr-old mother was taking an anti-psychosis drug. A local dr gave her a cough syrup and she started hallucinating again. The culprit? Dextromethorphan in the cough syrup reacted even with the lowest dose anti-psychosis drug. Stopped it. Hallucination disappeared soon.

@theliverdoc Same story with physiotherapists, in my opinion. The govt reversed a SC ruling and allowed them to call themselves doctors. Some fool the public by pretending to be actual doctors. Next, nurses and on technicians will demand the title too.
