No one buys a coin that keeps plummeting,
and whose market value keeps dropping every quarter of every year.
When the entire crypto market pumps,
$PI rises the least.
When market dumps, $PI falls the hardest.
@PiCoreTeam must burn a huge chunk of the supply to save Pi Network.
Everyone is missing the main point.
What we really want is for Pi’s price to be protected or to rise, so the community can regain confidence and momentum. Don’t look for the answer in the wrong places.
The protocol upgrades you are talking about are not that important. Protocol 26 and 27 are basically like software updates.
And what about a DEX? Look at how other Layer-1 blockchains reacted when they launched their own DEXs. In Cardano’s case, the price actually fell further after its DEX launch.
The real issue is "tokenomics." Demand is weak, but supply keeps increasing. That is the real problem.
Hundreds or even thousands of projects have gone through the same situation. We need to study what solutions the projects that survived introduced, and what effects they were trying to achieve.
Don’t get too emotionally attached to Pi’s protocol upgrades. Pi is simply catching up with Stellar’s protocol, and upgrades are a positive thing.
This is a good upgrade, but don’t expect any dramatic changes or assume the market will react to it.
Even Stellar treats these upgrades as routine technical updates. Turning Pi’s upgrade date into a big countdown and expecting something dramatic to happen is overhyping it.

Three more tokens have appeared on the Pi Testnet.
We have seen enough testing and practice.
Now I want to see real tokens, real liquidity, and real trading on Pi DEX.
It has already been nearly a year since the DEX vision was announced.
It’s time for the next step.
Pioneers are ready. Developers are ready. Let PIDEX begin. 🚀

OpenPay Update — We’ve Completed Our Part @PiCoreTeam
To all Pi Pioneers questioning or criticizing OpenPay:
OpenPay has already completed and submitted the requirements on our side. We have submitted our KYB application, and we are also waiting for the required Mainnet listing, token launchpad, and other Pi Network-side approvals.
On the integration side, OpenPay has already implemented Pi Authentication and Pi Payments, and we have built our OUSD token ecosystem.
The screenshot above confirms that our KYB submission has been recorded.
At this point, the remaining steps are on the Pi Network side. We are still waiting for review, approval, and an official update. We cannot control the timeline of Pi Network’s internal verification and listing process.
We understand that some Pioneers are frustrated because they want to see OpenPay fully recognized on Mainnet. We are frustrated too. But please don’t assume that OpenPay is incomplete or ignoring the requirements.
We have done our part. Now we are waiting for Pi Network.
We will continue building, improving, and supporting the Pi ecosystem while we wait for the official response.
OpenPay is ready. We’re waiting for the green light.

Pi holders can pay for real world robot services now that Pi Network has joined RoboPay as a payment partner, and the network those services actually run on belongs to Fabric Foundation.
I'd rather see $PI turn up as payment inside somebody else's system than as one more app in its own, since that's the harder thing to arrange and it doesn't depend on pioneers showing up.

Pi is fighting to break through the $0.10 resistance.
But honestly, after everything we’ve been through, it’s hard to get excited about $0.10. Our pride has already taken too much damage. 😅

Pioneers get a win, but is the $1B reclaim meaningful?
After weeks below what seems to be a psychological threshold for most pioneers, the $PI market cap surged back above $1 billion.
For millions of pioneers who have been hugely focused on the platform's progress, the main idea was, "We survived the dump; now is the time to be bullish once more."
Pioneers are one of the most loyal user bases in the crypto space. With approximately 18 million KYC-verified users, the network has tons of engaged users.
Beyond users, Pi Network (@PiCoreTeam) backs up that loyalty by building infrastructure.
For context, Protocol 26 is live, distributed computing tests have begun, and the app studio is growing steadily... The list is endless.
However, is the price surge and current development a big win?
Although PI is back above $1B in market cap, its price surge is still modest compared with other altcoins.
The asset is still down nearly 75% YTD, and trading volume is still not at its peak. Further, major exchange listings are still lacking.
Some challenges still remain:
- Ongoing unlock pressure.
- Relative underperformance in price.
- Gap in utility and distribution; What this means is making use of its large user base and converting it into real utility for payments or real defi app usage.
Despite these challenges, which could be temporary, the community has still not jumped ship.
Further, the wider market is still treating the asset as a high-dilution name rather than a utility-based blockchain.
For now, Pioneers can enjoy the recent price surge and, hopefully, the Pi blockchain will scale into one of the leading blockchains in the crypto space.
What do you think?
