at 20 my company was doing $30k/mo, then it felt apart in 3 months.
but turned out it was exactly what I needed.
I dropped out of high school at 16, failed a dozen businesses, then got a job as an assistant to an 8 figure fintech CEO.
Turned out his last company wasn't operating legally and couldn't get licensed and he was an ex-weapon dealer in LatAm so I left to build my own thing (i had $800 to my name).
Spontaneously, I partnered with a senior Investment banker from London to build a consulting company helping ppl land high paying jobs in finance.
Slowly, through social media, we scaled to $30k/mo mark. That looked like a great foundation in my journey and we reinvested everything back into rapid growth. (including paying $3500 for 1 meeting in a Dubai coffee shop)
Then, on a random Friday my partner told he didn't want to continue this venture (he's 30yo tired banker with a little daughter).
I had panic attacks and it felt like rock bottom.
I could've tried to continue this business alone, but I chose not to cause alone I didn't have the edge I needed.
And I remembered the dreams I'd had at 9yo, about becoming this tech billionaire, building the future of humanity and dominating silicon valley
So I decided it was time to become this hero for my 9yo self
After watching my mom struggle to get any joy out of life simply because she couldn't sleep and was always exhausted, I started researching the sleep app/tracker space
I was stunned. 15+ sleep apps doing 6-7 fig/mo in revenue, not using AI at all and just having basic white noise sounds.
They claim to track your sleep with just a microphone and know your sleep stages (total bs)
And even if it wasn't... it's just a random 65/100 or 72/100 which is useless info without personalized advice on how to actually fix your sleep.
It's like a fitness app that just tells you that you're fat and stops there
I connected the dots and decided to build AI-first sleep coach/doctor in your pocket - Morphi
An app that will fix your sleep, not just track, cause we're entering the era of AI-agentic apps, that is the future.
Apple rejected us 15+ times, but I doubled down on talking to ppl about sleep and on viral marketing
Now we are on a mission:
- Morphi to help 500 million people stop suffering from bad sleep
- And me, to finally become that hero of my 9yo self and get to 8 figure valuation in <12 months
I'll be sharing the whole journey here and across my other social media.
Comment if you want to connect or ask me anything
@claudeai With that pace of growth I guess in a few years nothing's gonna really matter ๐ All of the startups we're building will be one-shot with Opus 6.7
there are companies selling 9 figures a year worth of sleep accessories
not one of them is actually SOLVING the sleep problem for millions of people, because they just soften the problem
just imagine if you could have a 24/7 sleep doctor that takes care of your alarm, proper bedtime and gives you tailored tasks to get the most out of your sleep...
actually... don't need to imagine anything - just use it now

Every investor I talk with says the same thing: go b2b.
And they're not wrong. but the harder it gets with b2c - the more relieved I am.
The harder sth is - the less ppl will remain on the arena and easier it'll be to win if you can just keep going
last time I needed 6 people to hit six figures in revenue
this time the plan is: even smaller team, lots of AI, and a much bigger number.
one of the reasons I decided to get into the app/startup space recently was cuz high volume and low touch is exactly the perfect combo to utilize the full power of AI (especially assuming how smart it'll be in 1-2 years from now)
When you run a mobile app - everything is one-to-many, which makes * almost * all routine flows of the business easy to automate, even at scale
Life and business is not fair, find your edge
Imagine a fitness app where you just put in your weight and it tells you that you're still fat and that's it.
That is the exact situation with all of the sleep apps/trackers right now
You get your sleep score, which is honestly half random most of the time
And now you're obsessed with a vanity metric and if it goes below average - you act as if you slept like shit (this actually might not be true, but rather a placebo effect)
I'm tired of this bs and these apps making 8 figures per year so I'm building an AI-first sleep app that's going to solve all of this and finally fix your sleep, instead of just giving you random charts
