“اتوار 24 نومبر کو ہمارا احتجاج ہر صورت ہو گا۔
پاکستان کو بنانا ریبلک بنا دیا گیا ہے۔ ملک میں جمہوریت، آئین اور قانون کا جنازہ نکل چکاہے- چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم کے بعد سپریم کورٹ اور ہائی کورٹس کو ضلعی عدالتوں کی طرح بےاختیار بنا دیا گیا ہے۔ جہاں سے کسی کو انصاف نہیں ملے گا۔
پاکستانی قوم اپنی نسلوں کے مستقبل کے لئے 24 نومبر کو نکلے!!
مجھے پیغام ملا کہ احتجاج کو دس دن تک مؤخر کر دیا جائے تو مذاکرات شروع کئے جا سکتے ہیں۔ ہمارے مطالبات میں بےگناہ قید سیاسی قیدیوں کی رہائی کا مطالبہ فی الفور قابلِ عمل مطالبہ ہے۔ لیکن لاہور میں قید رہنماؤں کو ڈیڑھ سال سے جھوٹے مقدمات میں ملوث کر کے رکھا ہوا ہے۔ ان کو رہا کرنا سنجیدہ مذاکرات کی طرف مناسب قدم ہوتا۔ ایک سال سے جیل میں ہوں اس دوران مجھے ساٹھ سے زیادہ مقدموں میں ملوث کر دیا گیا۔ کل ہائیکورٹ ��ے ضمانت ملنے کے بعد مجھے رہا کرنے کی بجائے ایک اور بےہودہ مقدمے میں گرفتاری ڈالی دی گئی- اس سے ظاہر ہوتا ہے کہ مذاکرات کرنے والی قوتیں سنجیدہ نہیں ہیں۔
احتجاج ہمارا بنیادی آئینی حق ہے- ہم نے احتجاج اور مذاکرات کے لیے اپنے تین مطالبات رکھے ہوئے ہیں- احتجاج اور مذاکرات جاری رہیں گے- ہم سیاسی لوگ ہیں بات چیت سے ہی آگے بڑھ سکتے ہیں- اگر وہ بات چیت میں سنجیدہ ہیں تو ہمارے انڈر ٹرائل لوگوں کو رہا کیا جائے۔
ملک میں قانون کی حکمرانی نہیں ہو گی تو کوئی سرمایہ کاری نہیں کرے گا۔ چین اور ہندوستان کو اوور سیز چائنیز اور ہندوستانیوں نے اٹھایا۔ ملک صرف ترسیلات زر سے نہیں سرمایہ کاری سے ترقی کرتے ہیں۔ سمندر پار پاکستانی مجھے پچاس سال سے جانتے ہیں، جب وہ یہ دیکھتے ہیں کہ ملک میں قانون کی حکمرانی نہیں ہے تو وہ کیوں سرمایہ کاری کریں گے؟
آپ دیکھیں گے کہ اتوار کو سمندر پار پاکستانی ساری دُنیا میں پاکستان میں جاری فسطائیت اور جبر کےخلاف تاریخی احتجاج کریں گے۔ ان کو کوئی ڈنڈے نہیں مارے گا نہ ہی ان پر ��یلنگ ہو گی۔ وہ آزاد جمہوری ملکوں میں رہتے ہیں۔”

چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم کے ذریعے 10 سال کیلئے غیر اعلانیہ مارشل لاء لگا دیا گیا ہے۔ ملک میں بوگس پارلیمنٹ، بوگس وزیراعظم، بوگس صدر اور بوگس جمہوریت ہے۔ اس وقت جنرل مشرف سے زیادہ خوفناک ڈکٹیٹر شپ قائم ہے۔ قانون کی ��الادستی جمہوریت ازادی اور ملک کے مستقبل کو ختم کر دیا گیا ہے۔
اپنے سہولت کاروں کی مدد سے مینڈیٹ چوری کر کے ملک پر قابض مافیا کے زیر انتظام جاری فسطائیت کے نظام، آئین و قانون اور عدلیہ پر مسلسل حملوں، ہمارے بے گناہ لوگوں کو زندان میں میں ڈالنے والی جعلی حکومت کو بتانا ہو گا کہ قوم کو یہ سب نامنظور ہے۔
24 نومبر کے احتجاج کی قیادت تحریک انصاف لیڈرشپ کرے گی۔ میں نے پارٹی رہنماؤں کو جامع احتجاجی پلان دے دیا ہے۔ میں نے ایک کمیٹی تشکیل دی ہے، احتجاج کو لیڈ کرنے اور ختم کرنے کا اختیار اس کمیٹی کے پاس ہوگا۔ مذاکرات جب کرنے ہونگے جس سے بھی کرنے ہوں گے، ہینڈلرز جس کسی کو آگے کریں گے ہماری کمیٹی ان سے مذاکرات کرے گی-
میں اپنی پارٹی قیادت کو یہ ہدایت کرتا ہوں کہ احتجاج کی جامع منصوبہ بندی کریں اور اپنے حلقے کے لوگوں کو اس کے حوالے سے مکمل آگہی دے کر ایک بھرپور لیکن پرامن احتجاج کے لیے تیار کریں۔
جہاں یہ احتجاج پارٹی لیڈرز، ممبران اسمبلی، ٹکٹ ہولڈرز، ناظمین، اور صوبائی و مقامی تنظیموں کا امتحان ہے، وہیں یہ ہر طبقۂ فکر سے تعلق رکھنے والے عام آدمی کا بھی امتحان ہے۔ میں ہر طبقے بشمول اپنے کاروباری طبقے، سول سوسائٹی، قانونی برادری، کسانوں، ریڑھی بانوں، تنخواہ دار طبقے سے کہتا ہوں کہ اسلام آباد پہنچیں۔ میرے نوجوان اور طلباء، جن کا مستقبل بالخصوص داؤ پر ہے، ان کو یہ ہدایت دینا چاہتا ہوں کہ آپ نے اس تحریک میں بڑھ چڑھ کر حصہ لینا ہے۔ اپنے بیرون ملک مقیم پاکستانیوں کو بھی میرا یہ پیغام ہے کہ قوم کے مستقبل کی خاطر دنیا بھر میں احتجاج کا حصہ بنیں اور پارٹی کی فنڈنگ میں بھی بھرپور حصہ لیں-
مجھے اپنی ق��م پر مکمل بھروسہ ہے اور میں یہ پیشنگوئی کر رہا ہوں کہ 24 نومبر کو پورا پاکستان اسلام آباد پہنچے گا اور عوام کا سمندر ہر رکاوٹ اور کنٹینر کو بہا لے جائے گا۔ اس دن یک زبان ہو کر پوری قوم کے یہی مطالبات ہوں گے:
- چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم کالعدم قرار دے کر آئین کو اپنی پرانی حالت میں بحال کیا جائے
- چوری شدہ مینڈیٹ کی واپسی
- بغیر ٹرائل گرفتار سیاسی قیدیوں کی رہائی
میرے پاکستانیو، اب کی بار ہم نے اپنے مطالبات کی منظوری تک واپس نہیں لوٹنا”

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement :
Pakistan today is passing through one of its darkest phases, where there is a complete collapse of law and order and brute force is being used unabated to destroy the very foundations of democracy, constitution, and rule of law.
Judiciary is being enslaved with the executive being given powers well beyond its constitutional entitlement, thus gravely impacting the structure of trichotomy of power.
Nobody is safe from the fascism prevalent today: legislators, their businesses, their properties, their families, even women and children are under assault. Azam Swati, Khawaja Shiraz, Intizar Panjotha have all been abducted and tortured. All established redlines have been fractured with total disregard for human rights.
In the wake of the 26th Constitutional Amendment, the silence of the legal fraternity is disturbing. Today, the situation is much worse than ever before in the past. Judiciary’s independence has been brutally assaulted, and judges turned into dispensable commodities. This must be resisted with the full vigour and faith by the legal community as, otherwise, they will forever remain buried under the unwieldy weight of oppression and tyranny.
The criminal mafias that have been illegally hoisted in positions of power have their properties, businesses and families abroad. They come back only to unleash a reign of plunder to fly off to their safe havens, waiting for their next turn.
They were defeated in the February 8 elections, but the results were stolen in the darkness of night. This blighted night has continued to get darker with the passage of time.
I have been subjected to solitary confinement and torture in a dark cell by those who control Adiala. My Lahore house was raided when my wife was alone. My sisters and other relatives have been mercilessly targeted. I have not been allowed to speak to my children and denied all rights that the constitution grants me.
With the establishment in command, the distance between the armed forces and the people is widening. Army being an indispensable public asset must be responsive to the will of the people. We can’t afford to sacrifice the reputation of the institution to satiate the lust for power of an individual or a coterie of a few. That would be tragic as it would cause irreparable damage to the reputation of the institution.
Our struggle is not against the institution of the military. We are fighting for democracy, independence of judiciary and restoration of the Constitution. The fight is for the rights of the people. We are fighting for confining institutional operations within the domain of the Constitution. We are fighting for restoring people their freedoms so that they could lead Pakistan to become a formidable country.
No outside force will help us. We must do it ourselves. We must regain our freedom, our dignity and self-respect. Loss of these values renders' human life meaningless. What we do now will determine the future of Pakistan and that of its coming generations.
This can be done only if the stolen mandate of February 8 is restored to the people of Pakistan and those whom they selected as their leaders. The governments installed on the basis of a stolen mandate are lack legitimacy and relevance. They cannot provide the country the leadership it desperately needs to tide over unprecedented difficult times.
It is time for people to step out to reclaim their mandate. PTI is the largest political party of the country. We have the people’s trust. We must not fail them. This is the time to launch a peaceful movement for the restoration of the Constitution, democracy and rule of law. I call upon all segments of the society to play their role. I especially urge my ticketholders to join the movement.
