It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of our Fire Eyes family.

Robert Capdevielle passed away on Saturday the 7th of December. Since joining the FE crew in 2021, Bob has been a huge part of our organisation. His energy, optimism and endless laughs will be sorely missed by all of us at Fire Eyes, as well as everyone he met at hackathons and events all around the world over the past few years.

We’re incredibly grateful to have spent the time we did with Bob, and we hope this serves as a reminder for all of us to appreciate the people we have around us and the time we all spend together!

🔥_🔥 has just posted to the @gitcoin forum outlining a number of ideas around 'GTC Value Accrual'

This post hopes to spark meaningful discussion within the Gitcoin community around how to build value accrual and sustainability into GTC and Gitcoin.

The three ideas presented are:

- Allo Protocol Fee Switch
- Passport Staking
- GTC Venture Matching Pool

Each one of these topics has strong potential to develop the Gitcoin ecosystem in a new way, we're keen to initially submit a proposal to launch a GTC venture Matching Pool as well as support other proposals focused on GTC value accrual.
