[I Was Glad @GladWasI]

And somewhere, we suspect, are mountains of hanging chads and spoiled ballot papers from fans who wanted to #VoteIwasGlad in @TheEvensongCup 😔

[I Was Glad @GladWasI]

And let my crying come unto thee 😭 Wouldn’t say we’re GLAD, but proud to have played a good and fair contest against a worthy opponent 😢Good luck to Hear my Prayer in the final nail-biting stages of @TheEvensongCup

[World Cup of Evensong @TheEvensongCup]

There you have it - Purcell's Hear My Prayer is through to the Quarter Final.

And Parry - I was glad is heading home, to the disappointment of many.

I'm sure it'll be back for the World Cup of Understated Wedding Introits 😉
